In 1999 Sjølyst Utvikling AS
and partners acquired Kaldnes Mekaniske Verksted, an area of ship
industry.
Today, Kaldnes is connected to the centre of
Tønsberg with a 100 meters long pedestrian bridge. We have built 230
residences, headquarters for a public directorate, restaurants and shops in this
new part of town.

The whole project was sold to Hansa Property Group ASA
in 2007, but Sjølyst Utvikling AS was still responible for managing
the project for one year after the sale.
