In 2000 Sjølyst Utvikling AS and eight other investors acquired most of Fornebu, the former main airport of Oslo and Norway.

The project has a potential for 425 000 square meters of residences and 100 000 square meters of commercial property with shopping, hotel etc. and is Scandinavias largest real estate development project.

The project was sold in March 2007 to Aberdeen Property Investors.
